I have an 06 grande punto and there's no power going to the head unit,
There's a 15amp fuse in the fuse box to the left of the glove compartment which I've chnged before and it's worked but the head unit still isn't gaining power and I've bought a new fuse. Is there another fuse in the fuse box that could be explaining the lack of power?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
THANKS

Thank for your help , the fuse in the head unit is still ok, I'm wondering if there's a bigger problem , like the power lead is broken or damaged. I spoke to fiat on the phone and they said they had never heard of this problem before so I was thinking also that even though the fuses haven't actually blown they could just be not working

Yes it's the original head unit , and after market one isn't working either so I'm really not sure . Getting a friends multimeter on it today to have a look

It doesn't display a message (the original) it doesn't even turn on or even make a sound ...
And yes it stopped after I tried to fit an after market one which I had my friend wire up for me but I used a converter lead to plug it in to the punto audio loom or whatever it's called

Did you fit an inline adaptor or just plug it straight in to the fiat plug although its iso... its not wired the same.....

Any can bus issues? mileage flashing?
