I want to be able to connect up a scan/diagnostic tool to my 2006 Grande Punto 1.2 3 door. Have had a good look under the bonnet and under the dashboard but can't see any free socket. There must be one somewhere on the car, surely, but where? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is located behind the plastic trim under the fog lights and menu switch back

feel into the cubby you can get your fingers in to grip it then give it a good tug....

(take care as the clips break easily)

put a smear of grease on the clips when you refit it (to make future removal easier) ;)

Mine snapped totally on both sides is there a fix or just buy another. There is nothing to glue back together as it is the small bits that snapped and vanished lol :)
