Hi Guys / Girls,

My driverside window is driving me mad when I try to lower it, it will only travel 75mm and then stop, I have to do this 5 times to get the window fully open then again 5 times to shut the window !!

Passenger side works fine.

I looked in the owners manual and it refers to a system restore due to anti crush being enabled but I cant restore it, any ideas or any one else had this ?????:bang:

Cheers

Get it all the way down, then once it's at the bottom, press and hold the "down" button for 2 secs. Now work it all the way back up, and once at the top, press and hold the "up" button for 2 secs. After this it should have learnt the lower and upper limits, and work as normal.

See this right here? This is why I love this place.

Thanks for the reply, but alas no success, I've taken the drivers side window control buttons off the car door and when opening and closing the window I can feel a relay operating that must be breaking the supply to the window motor. I'm completely beaten by this, but it annoys me every time I use the window.

I can only presume the motor is faulty and drawing too much current (the anti-crush feature is based on the sudden current spike across the motor from something obstructing the glass' travel). You could try another control panel from a scrappy, but I suspect the motor is more likely to be the cause.
