Hi all,

I'm fairly new here. I have a 2006 GP Eleganza (14L | 16V), and have the Blue&Me system. I bought an aux cable (35mm), but noticed that the usb must be connected for it to work, and they use the same slot in the stereo.

So my question is, does a Y-Connector for the yellow clip exist? If so, how should I search for it please, I don't know what it's called.

Thanks in advance.

Do you know if that one will work please? Fiat are not mentioned in the list.

I'd imagine that one wouldn't work, as aux in for the Fiat head unit is only six pin. I did a guide on it where I spliced the pins: https://www.fiatforum.com/ice-guides/310168-aux-blue-me.html

However, I've looked into it and found that this isn't the safest way of doing it as the power from your phone or ipod can go in to the blue and me, and any power from that can go straight into one of your phone/ipod. That could cause the amp in either to blow :/
I've ordered some resistors that will hopefully come tomorrow to create a "resistive combiner" which would eliminate that problem. I'll let you know how I go :)

Bugging you after 3 months :p

Oops :p my bad. Mines working really well. No problems. So from the list that is on the guide, the other stuff that you'll need is 4 10K ohm resistors. And also some heat shrink would be good if you've got a hot air gun. I've got a little simple to read wiring diagram that's on my home computer. So will upload that on this thread tonight, as for some strange reason I couldn't edit my guide :(

The resistors are good for protecting whatever you're plugging in via aux, but if your Media Player is much louder, you could get two variable resistors that go either side of 10k ohms and I'll explain how you can use them to change the volume level when I put up the wiring diagram. You'd probably need a multimeter.
