I am looking at getting a new car now, which means I have to lose my lovely GP soon!

I have found a White Focus Estate 2.0 163 Titanium X that I really like.

I still dont know whether to sell mine privately or trade it in. They offered £3500 on mine - 1.9 M Jet Elegenza with 63 000 on the clock

Boo hiss go on begger off to the blue oval.... May a dozen stingers befall your path

Thanks Andy! Lol. Fiat dont offer an estate car! Nor do Alfa anymore and the 500l only comes with 105bhp engine.

It is a good trade in value however the car has also been really well maintained

Your welcome lol the focus is a cracking drive although jumping from the gp the brakes seem under powered although it still stops

159 is sexy! But its also old. I like the ambient lighting, DAB, heated seats, auto collision stop etc toys which the alfa hasnt got.

I also drove a Kia Ceed SW. That was surprisingly very good.

Being objective I can't disagree with any of the above but the focus leaves me completely cold. I'd much sooner have an Alfa gullieta and if it had to be an estate I'd live with the heavy and slightly dated 159; that dash and those headlights would be ample compensation.

Still, I hope you enjoy the focus.

I had a 2001 Focus Ghia 2.0 before I had the GP. It was a soulless car however it was comfortable.

The GP has been reliable to a point that its not left me stranded at the road side, however im fed up of constantly repairing it. I have forked out thousands and thousands on the car and cant justify the good looks for that! When im travelling home on the motorway at midnight I want to be comfortable and safe, which the GP does do.
