Just thought i'd post how I fit my splitter, I had the bumper off to make things easier.

First thing I did was mark up the center of the bumper and splitter, aligned it up on the bumper and screwed two screws to hold it in position for me.

After this it was solid enough for me to start bending on my own and adding screw by screw until I was happy with the bend I had.

If you notice I have cut two notches either side where the most bending was going to happen, it helps it bend easier

22 screws later and this is the finished product

And the two bits that were sticking out I cut off with a dremel cutter

Hope it helps other people get an idea on how easy/hard it is to fit, took me about 30mins (y)

I used 4.0x16mm panel screws just drove them in with a screwdriver. Then put silicone on the heads to stop rusting.

Swear there needs to be a sticky for cupra splitters. Tons, and tons of punto owners have fitted them including myself. DanielM, this is a good guide mate. I would recommend making one in the guides section! I cut mine too short but yours looks spot on pal!

I just got the bumper on yesterday, hopefully today I'll get a few pics up!

This is one photo from my phone, I'll get my DSLR out at a later date!

A few more pics of what it looks like, I recommend everyone to do this mod. Such a small thing makes a big difference!

Where did you get your splitter from mate? Seat garages I rang quoted around £47 (considering it was under £20 a few years back, making a killing on the high demand for the part :( ), and on eBay they're around the same price. I understand this is just going to be the Seat part and in no way modified for the GP, but as they're all around that price anyway, would it be the best to go for?

Yeah I got it from eBay mate. I rang a few local dealers but they wouldn't drop the price so I payed around £45 for it.
