Right first off, i had a blowout on the motorway about 18months ago (rather scary lol) as a result i had a new tyre fitted. A few months later the new tyre went flat, i pumped it up and within an hour it was flat again... So i pumped it up again and it was fine for months, then out of the blue it went flat again, so it was pumped up again and i took it to a local tyre shop where me and the owner thoroughly checked the tyre and rim and there was nothing at all wrong with it! So it was once again inflated and has been fine ever since......

Until today! Flat as a pancake and will not inflate. Could there be a problem with the valve?

Second problem! After trying to inflate the tyre with the 12v pump the car will not start, all the lights and radio etc work fine, but when i turn the key all i get is a ticking from the engine. Could this still be a battery issue, or starter motor?....or what!?

If anyone has any ideas it will be much appreciated!

think your right about the valve on the tyre, could be faulty, as for the clicking noise, probs starter? or maybe low battery?

I had the same problem with it starting. It was the battery for me.
Try a jump start and leave it running and let the alternator charge the battery.
