Tuning Bought a 1.3td M-jet, remap questions?

Hi there,

Ive just bought a Grande Punto 1.3td M-jet (75hp),

and first things first was try and get the power up slightly, so Its booked in for a re-map in a couple weeks.

Quick question on the remap really, as the guy im going with has never done a GP before.

So roughly how much bhp am I looking at?

Mpg?

and any known problems with anyone having a map on a 1.3td on here?

The map will be the only engine mod, its only to give it a little more poke.

Any replys, I will be greatful..

Thats what you are asking in essence,how can anyone answer that type of question given no info on what type of remap it will be.
Can i assume the person doing the remap has a long and good reputation at least. as in this life you normally get what you pay for... good luck

A remap could possibly push it to around 90-100bhp unsure about everything else though but it's definitely worth doing

Well I wont be going to a stage 3 on a first map, and I listed that the map will be the only mod.

The person doing the map has not got a long and good reputation, but hes got a good short one.
Hes only been doing a short time (him self).

But everyone has to start somewhere, and plus the map is cheap for that reason he wants to earn respect around.


And thanks for the other reply, the mark Im aiming for is 90bhp.

The point of this thread inscase I didnt discribe properly, I was wondering if anyone had any answers from previous experence.

I had my 2010 JTd 1.3 75 remapped at Gama Motorsport near Banbury.
BHP is up but torque is vastly improved so well worth it
