Ive had this problem for a few months and have been meaning to join this forum to see if anyone had any fixes for this issue

I drive a 56 plate Fiat Punto and whenever i try to tune into a AM or LW frequency on my car radio ( original blakpunt head unit ) i receive only static

It is only really for listening to Talksport when driving home from the football , so if anyone has any tips that would be great ?
