In 2k I need to change my oil.
I know there are a lot of threads about tjhe topic, and belive me I searched.
I just can't find a definitive answer.

I have the DPF version.
So if I'm correct I need 5W40 or 5W30.
The sites of the oil suppliers all recommend 5W30.

For the oil folter part I found out it's a box underneath the car.
On the right side.
I need to drain the sump and the box and can get filter out.
Problem is I haven't found any pictues of the damn thing.
Also there's a lot of discusion about what filter you need.
Something about a MANN housing and another type of filter?

So:

does anybody have pictures of the housing?
does anybody know what filter to use?
is the oil type I get from the websites correct?

As you've a DPF get the exact oil listed in the handbook, which is Selenia (sp?) normally, should be able to get it off of the Internet cheaper than from a dealer

I got the right oil, it meets the standards in the booklet.
But what filter do I need.
I understand there are two filters, different sizes.
One about 74mm and one a bit more than 100mm.

Well I called the garage witch replaced my filter last year.
The partnumber they used was: 1457429248 wich is the 74mm high filter.
I orders this one so it must be alright.

Got the filter and changed it tonight.
The above numver was correct for my 07 GP 1.9Mjet sport.

For what ots worth mate get garage to do it, i used to do my own until i realised they can do it cheaper then i can buy oil and flush for, so not worth wasting ur time over
