The dipped headlights on my Fiat GP MJ 1.3 began flickering on and off before Christmas, then decided too stay on all the time, apart from when you take the keys out. As I leave home in the dark and come back when it is dark, thought I would wait to investigate.

The stalk works for going between dipped and full, but won't turn off, so not sure if it is this that is causing the problem.

Before I folk out hundreds in getting the stalk replaced, want to take out of the equation any electrical issues.

Would anyone be able to provide wiring diagram, including the relays used, as I am sure that the issue is that the relay is the cause, but not sure which one to test.

Another oddity is that the left dipped headlight is no longer working after I had to jump start the car a couple of days ago, but I get no warning on the dashboard about this, but the side light comes and goes, and I do get a warning light about this.

Hope someone can help.

I seem to remember a similar thread to this some time ago. Have a good old search and you may find the answers you are looking for.

I had good search before posting, but could't see anything that might relate to the problem I have.

Definitely not that daylight lights, they are the dipped headlights that are on.

Do the dipped headlights go via a relay, as I had a look at the junction box in the engine compartment, and pulled the relays one by one, and the lights did not go off. Pulled a yellow 20amp fuse and the lights went off.

I bought the workshop manual for grande punto 2005-10 (elearn package), but the junction box diagram does not relate in any way to the junction box in my car, so still don't what each of the components do.

did you get that working right. I have same kind of situation with Grande punto and started searching some solution for it.
