Just wondering if many people use a BMC panel filter, in particular with their Mjet. I'm looking at buying one but was just wanting to know if anyone has had any bad experiences with it being an oiled filter. I am told that with certain cars these can cause problems with the maf sensor. Anybody got any positive or negative feedback to give on them?

I fitted a BMC panel around 5 months ago on my Mjet and haven't noticed any issues with it. If anything it lets more air through as its around half the depth of the stock filter. Slightly more whoosh sound when letting off the accelerator too which sounds nice, not chavvy or dump-valve like, but lets you know you have a turbo beast under the bonnet

In reality, if you're in need of servicing it and need to change it then upgrade to the BMC. If not and its just a want, save the money as theres no real difference other than you knowing its a BMC etc.

Cheers for the reply mate. At the moment it's either between the BMC or a Green panel filter; i've heard good things about both to be honest.
