Hello all,

I have recently put a set of JOM coilovers on my car and i have wound everything as low as it can go, but.... as ever i want the back to sit lower

Does anybody else have this problem? or has anybody found a way to make their car sit lower?
the car at the minute sits nice and level, the front is no problem because i can take the helper springs out and just wind the coils up a bit to make it sit level again

Drive around with some cement in the boot ?

Honestly if you've jut fitted them then they need bedding in

Yeah, ill give it some time ive done around 300 miles since fitted and thats average per week

how long would you say before theyre bedded in?

Just done mine, I didn't bother with the rear adjusters, sitting super low now

Remove rear adjusters and front helper springs and will be decked mate! Look at my thread and you can see how the rear sits with no adjusters

Any of you two got pics of how your springs are sitting without the cups?

took this today, phone pic when it was starting to get dark so not great.. they've only been on a day so still need to bed in properly.

as it stands now i have no rear adjusters on the back but still have the helpers on the front, MOT coming up soon and they can cause the springs to be loose when jacked up.

back definitely has to be lower or it'll look like a saxo lol! the fronts can go down a little bit more,

do you have any pics of how the springs are sat? im not sure how the springs would sit without the cups on.....

All I did was took the original rubber mounts from the standard spring and fitted them to the new one I can get a pic if you want

im pretty sure the top rubber wouldn't fit in the top on my rear spring the spring was far too big and the rubber went through!!

Ive just bought some joms but havent fitted yet. What do they handle like out of curiosity?

The ride is bumpy but not unbearable, and they handle really good!

its my first car ive modded so im not sure what its like compared to others, but there is no body roll! im really happy with them but i just want more lows haha
