Hi

Wondered if anyone can help me....
Just had my gearbox out of my GP to have a bearing replaced. Nearly all back together now just need to bleed the clutch.

Does anyone know how your meant to do this? I have a rough idea.

Did have a look for a guide but can't seem to find anything :(

Thanks

By the looks of it - the release bearing is built into the gearbox and linked by a pipe
Bit like the ford fiesta's

Anyway
There should be a bleed nipple near the intake pipe on the gearbox
locate where that is - unfortuantly i dont have a GP so cant advise

But either with a pressure bleeder or a Vacuum bleeder it'll be a matter of minutes todo

if you have neither of the above, next is the 2man method
1 on the nipple - 1 on the clutch pedal

With abit of pipe on the nipple and spare fluid ready

Engine bay man is in control
He shouts down - Clutch man puts pedal down and shouts down - open bleed nipple little bit of air and fluid will spit out - close the nipple - engine bay man shouts up - clutch man moves pedal up and shouts up when he's done it

Repeat the up / down process till the fluid is completly bubble free. If the pedal feels soft then hits hard, air is still trapped somewhere
This is why a vacuum bleeder or pressure bleeder is great because it forces it out with ease :)
