Sounds like its because a service is due, no other reason.

Re: Service

A "low mileage" service costs £139 in bristol at the franchised stealer.

Its basically just an oil change and a quick once over. Spark plugs not included as these are only required every 18k miles and I think you have to do sub 9k/year to qualify as low mileage.

Re: Service

If you want to keep your service history intact then you need to be ringing around a few local garages and pricing them off against each other. If you're not bothered and just want an oil change done buy the oil and filter from ebay or Halfords or something, come to Kirkburton and I'll do it for £20 Will check your other fluid levels, brakes etc over too and make sure all is good.

Re: Service

I've been quoted between £100-£120 for an interim service, is this high or low or about right ?

Edit: Just checked on Fiats website now and they do a "bronze care" for £99

http://www.fiat.co.uk/uk/ownership/servicing

(Can't do link as I'm on iPad)

Ah, is that where they do an all round check on your car and come back with a list of things that need replaced that actually don't to the sum of around £1000?
