A "low mileage" service costs £139 in bristol at the franchised stealer.

Its basically just an oil change and a quick once over. Spark plugs not included as these are only required every 18k miles and I think you have to do sub 9k/year to qualify as low mileage.

If you want to keep your service history intact then you need to be ringing around a few local garages and pricing them off against each other. If you're not bothered and just want an oil change done buy the oil and filter from ebay or Halfords or something, come to Kirkburton and I'll do it for £20 (y) Will check your other fluid levels, brakes etc over too and make sure all is good. :)

I've been quoted between £100-£120 for an interim service, is this high or low or about right ?

Edit: Just checked on Fiats website now and they do a "bronze care" for £99

Ah, is that where they do an all round check on your car and come back with a list of things that need replaced that actually don't to the sum of around £1000?

Maybe, haha

I forgot to mention I don't have any service history so god knows when the last on was done :(

I would take it and get it a full service, the full whack. Do you know if it has had it's belts done and the water pump? Get them to check that and if that hasn't been done get it all done as a matter of urgency.

Well it passed its MOT in December so I just presumed an interim service would do
When I got the car I got the little blue folder with the books in, what I got was "owners handbook"
"Sound system"
"fiat service"
And "blue and me"
But in non of these books is a service stamp :(

Ouch, buying a car with no service history, but you pays your money you takes your chance I guess. How old is it/mileage?
