Does anyone know how much a glow plug relay is to buy and any suggeste links would be help as the car does not allow the plugs to heat long enough so struggles to start if anyone has any ideas on what this could be other then the relay I have had the plugs changed not sure what to do help

hi, Unfortionatly its a common problem on the Mjets,
these cars are a bugger for doing it. mine included.

it helps if you keep everything turned off (radio, heater, lights etc) and press the clutch in whilst turning the key. make sure your leaving enough time for the glow plug light on the dash to disappear.

thanks for the link i will have a look and make sure that the numbers match up as they are £113 from fiat so this makes a massive saving

you may want to replace your glow pugs at the same time 2 bird with 1 stone and all that mumbo jumbo

yeah so i have found out and having been doing all of what you have said but as things are getting colder its been getting worse and i have had the plugs changed as the warning came up and only seems to have got worse not good

Yeah will I think so it's got to be something to do with the glow plug system as tge plugs have been done and no better so I'm not really sure but getting it plugged in this week and I hope I can get a result
