(OT) No Electrical Power & No Sign Of Car Starting At All

Hi there im a new member & my 2007 1300 diesel grande punto is giving me a headache!!went to start it yesterday & there was no power whatsoever,no interior or dash lights nothing!!it was runing perfectly the night b4!ive not tried to jump start as i had a similar prob a few months bk when i bought the car it turned out to be an earth strap had come loose,will a rusty nut holding it on to the chasiss possibly be to blame as everthing else looks to be ok & i cant c it being the alternator as all power was fine beforehand!!!pls help

If you have a multimeter you can test the battery to see if somehow it has gone flat as a pan cake. Assuming battery ok you can use a jump lead as a temporary earth strap to test. Lots of threads on here about doing that.

seek and ye shall find if you look at the top of the page in the Green bar there is search if you use the drop down menu you can select advanced search then narrow the search to the grande punto section for example anyhow........
