Technical Heater problem. (NOT THE WIRE)

My wife's 08 punto is not having fun lately. First the heating wasn't working and I searched the forum and found the wire issue. I ordered a new wire from eBay and fitted it and the blowers now work on all 4 setting. I got the heater to work for a short time but it seemed to get hotter the faster I drove which I have no idea how that worked

Now the heater isn't working at all. The blowers still work and the wire is fine but we just cant get any heat out of it. I dont have a manual as it went with mine when I traded her in so I dont know if its a fuse. I've hunted but cant get a straight answer of what fuse/size/location.

Also has anyone else had this issue and what fixed it.

have you or her noticed a change in feel for your knob (ooo errrrr)

can you feel / hear the air diverter flap moving behind the dash as you turn th e heat control knob?


if not it could have become detached somewhere behind the dash....

Is the coolent full in the engine bay?

Do the heater matrix pipes get hot?

on the third picture down that silver rectangle with 2 pipes going to it is the heater matrix
