Hey guys, My name is Rizvan, I'm new on this forum. Before 2 months I bought a Fiat Grande Punto and it seemed like a good car, economic, 1.4l Engine. Recently now that the weather is quite cold in the morning when I go to work, I've got this problem the engine starts but it goes off again like it doesn't suck the fuel. maximum 4 times than on the 5th time it starts and works fine during the day.

Any Idea where the problem might be ? Please do not hesitate to give your opinions

i take it the car starts then the revs (rpm) slowly decrease and the engine stops.......

I had this myself on my last car

first check the battery is healthy (decent garage to do a Load /capacity test)

next if ok

then look into replacing the map sensor (y)

Hey there Andy, thank you for the reply. I now know where the problem, is because I also read the other what problems they have had, and it is almost the same problem with mine. I just don't know is it simple to change it or does it have to be connected with a computer or something like that. I couldn't find any youtube tutorial. so I would be very thankfull if you could probably explain it in a simple way how to change it.

ps: Thank you again

Regards,
Rizvan
