Technical Yep, the intermittent window fault.

As some of you may know apparently the gp's have a intermittent window fault.

last year i had my windows tinted and when i had the car back i noticed every now and then they where jamming, i thought maybe some water in the switch or something but as time has gone on its got worse.

the car has been back to the window place but every time it goes in, the windows fine :/

i cant put it down to anything, it seems to happen when ever it wants but i have noticed once coming off the motorway it does happen alot (maybe vibrations) i have done all the obvious for example unplug the connector under the switch etc but no luck.

the window will always go down it is the upwards motion that fails and its only the drivers window.

any ideas or any similar stories????

cheers andy, will have a mooch! mines slightly different as its only when i press it down it wont come up, always goes down when ever i want it to, maybe fault switch.

Same here on my dads GP 07, the window on passenger side will go down but WILL NOT come back up ??? Checked ALL swithec and fuses but totaly baffled ?????
