Hi, a while ago i had a problem with the engine light being constantly on, on my Fiat Grande Punto 1.9 mjet (130). After taking it to Garage it was diagnosed as a faulty egr valve. I then replaced the egr valve and the engine light stayed off however there has been a problem with the turbo coming in at high gears. The car seems unsure whether the turbo should come in or not. Then when the turbo does come in and starts to boost it then goes into limp mode and the turbo is lost until restarted.

Can anyone shed any light on why i might be encountering this problem.

Is it chipped at all.
Do you have any OBD codes

Did they clear the fault? I know that sounds silly but even if the part is replaced the fault needs cleared otherwise it will still think the faulty part is there.

No its not chipped at all. And no i don't have any codes for it.

Yes they did clear the fault and the engine light stayed off. The first thing i noticed after that was this problem of it juddering as it goes into the turbo. Followed by it going into limp mode in high gears at high revs.
