As the title says really. Has anyone dissected a GP headlight unit before? If so, are they easy to get in to without risk of breaking the plastic?

Reason I ask, I've just purchased a headlight unit which has the dull grey reflector around the bulbs. Whereas I need the chrome reflector since that's what's on the car already. I have two spare chrome reflectors that are undamaged. So the question is, can I transplant the chrome reflector into the one I've just bought?

Cheers
Phil

I've not done it before but believe there are people on here who have.

Simply put in the oven to soften sealant and peel away. I know that FIAT were extremely helpful as always and put heat resistant sealant in my Stilo headlights though :bang:.

Hmm, does look a little tricky - might just have to keep an eye out for another chrome one a bit later down the line. As long as it functions as it should that's all I need for now! Cheers for the tip though!
