Hi Guys!

So.. its snowing, and ice is forming on the inside of my windscreen while I'm driving!

Time to fix the heating system.

1) Pollen filter - non-existant. but its housing nice and clean.
2) Fan motor, clean as a whistle, and spinning nicely!
3) No blockages that i can find.
4) Air is hot.. but even on 4 setting, very very little air comes out.
not enough to de-mist my windscreen on cold days.

what should i check next !?

Thanks for the fast reply!

Hi,
if you use the diverter valve ( inside / outside air),
does it make any difference..??,

If there isn't airflow then surely that has to be the fan motor dying?

Are the settings 1,2,3,4 all the same air flow?

Setting the diverter to cold i get cold air.. Hot gives me hot air. but still the same pathetic airflow.

Setting 1 is virtually nothing.
Setting 2... barely anything.
setting 3.. i can just about feel it.
setting 4... its definatly blowing, but very very slowly.
I can hear the motor spinning.. sounds good.

I've had it spinning outside of its housing, and the motor seems to spin fine.
Speed settings work as expected.
