Just wanted to check something. I have been told that voltage spike could have blown my rear window. I wanted to check what the voltage of the conectors should be with thengine off and on mine reads just over 12.3v with the ingition on but the engine off and just over 14.4v with the engione running is this correct of am I getting to much power.

Also I have a 12v bosch S5 battery fitted is this to powerful fitted. As i am also constanley getting the bulb warning light comming on and off when it feels like it when all bulbs are working okay.

I really fail to see how even a big spike could shatter a rear screen.....

you'd probably burn the tracks off the glass before it does anything like that...

That and a surge of that kind of magnatude would probably destroy the ECU / Body computer

Oh, the rear Windows's shattered? Like you say Andy, not a power spike which would cause that.
