Went out to the car yesterday to get my brolly out of the boot only to find the rear window shatted but still in tact no punture holes.

I have know had the window replaced but the window bloke said he won't reconect the rear de-mister wire's and he advised me to check the circuit as he said it could be a fault with that and that could have been the cause of the problem.

Could anyone advise what I should be checking for I assume it would be a voltage check via the multi meter. But what voltage should I be getting when switched on.

Also checked my manual and can not find the fuse number for the rear window I have a 57 plate 1.2 active GP registered in septemnber 2007 could anyone adivise.

I have found the relay in the engine bay fuse box so going to change that as a matter of course.

Why can't he reconnect it? Sound like the wrong screen has been ordered and fitted.
