Hi i just registred to the website.
I have a Fiat Grande Punto 1.4 (77HP) petrol engine.
The car is from 2006.
One day the engine check warning lit up.Since then the car revs until 2000 RPM....then Sloooooowly until 4000 RPM.After that it WILL NOT REV any more.
When that problem appears engine power is so weak that even in 1st gear i cannot climb steep roads.Ive seen several mechanics and each mechanic has its own opinion.Some say its the acceleration padel...some that its a faulty oil pressure sensor.
If i turn off the engine and start it again sometimes the problem dissapears...but it can reaper while im driving or if i turn off the engine.
Any help would be appreciated.Thanks!
