My 08 plate Grande Punto has been diagnosed as having a seized turbo actuator.

Not being particularly technically minded is there any way of cleaning and freeing this off to avoid the £1000 cost of replacing the turbo? If so, how?

is it a diesel or petrol? if its a petrol you could go straight for the forge actuator?

Speak to a turbo specialist - they will probably be able to order an actuator direct from the manufacturer (either Garrett or IHI).
