One of the niggling issues I have with the daughters car is a faulty indicator stalk. The left hand indicator is intermittant when pushed in the fully down position.
I have 2 questions.

1. Do all the GP's have the trip computer, ours has a button on the end of the wiper stalk, which cycles through the trip computer.

2. before I go to my local breakers and shell out £50, does anyone have one for sale.

You could check parkers or autotrader for spec of a base punto to see if it was standard. I think it was.

I'm not sure about the gp but I think on some cars replacement stalks need pairing with the car using a diagnostic machine. I'm sure one of the fiat techs on here will advise.

Hi Andy

Thanks for the link, however it's rather expensive, so I'm tempted risk it and get one from the breakers yard.
The Airbag Drawings are just what i'm looking for though.

On the same note, I was planning on removing the battery on friday night, then taking the airbag off on saturday morning. Provided I remove and refit the airbag with the battery disconnected, will i still need to have the airbag light reset ?

Providing all the connections are intact before battery is reconnected the car shouldn't realise its been disconnected from the look of the unit on shop4parts the air bag loom is part of the indicator stalk assembly so be really sure its not been damaged by some goon at the local scrappy ;)

The duaghters BF's next door neighbour works in the trade and is getting her a brand new one from Fiat Manchester for £50. Won't be here until tuesday though :(
