i posted the picture to try and make it more clear what tyres are the worst if you get a stone in them, its the ones with a bead that goes all the way arount the tyre, winters ive seen dont have that dreaded bead

I had Pirelli P3000 on the front and it made not one iota of difference in the wet.

I'd hate to see what it would be like with cheap garbage on, like most GPs I see. Scary.

with Pirelli p2000 you are only paying extra for the name so probably be the same

the p6000 on dads old car were crap in all weathers IMO......

I had p400's on my 504 and they were terrible in the wet. Fantastic on gravel

Personally I'm not a big fan of Pirelli's

I'm going to be boring, but their motorsport history doesn't inspire confidence. In F1 their tyres grain like all hell and chuck craploads of marbles out and in the WRC they were almost always outclassed by Michelin on gravel and tarmac.

I just feel that if they can't do a good enough job with competition tyres then they're just not for me.

I've always found Continental's, Michelin's, Bridgestone's and recently Vredestein's to be good.

As I said earlier the lack of weight over front wheels won't help things (this doesn't apply to mjet obv).

Maybe my Toyos would be great on one of them!

Alot of toyo's i find are often a heavier weight rating then standard

Okay you have a choice like

For example i brought some Toyo 350's
old car used 81 T - they were 84T
Making them a harder tyre to cope with the load
