Hey guys, wondering if anyone could shed some light on this, I have a humming/whining sound coming from the nearside wheel area when going over 60mph. I wasn't sure if it was the gearbox at first but when I disengage it, it still makes the sound so I guess it's not that, unless anyone thinks otherwise? Or could it be the bearing? I jacked up the car and I can't here anything whist spinning the wheel. How else could I check the wheel bearing?

Thanks Jack

Wheel bearing mate unfortunately.

You can check the bearing by checking for play (rocking the wheel at the top and bottom)

does the sound fade when you turn right at speed? if it is the bearing it's £60 max to replace.
Checked for play and there doesn't seem to be any, going somewhere yesterday and stopped while going left.
If not the wheel bearing it could be diff bearings
How would I tell if it is the diff?
