Hi guys,

I have T-Jet and kinda concerned about the noise it makes when boosting...

It sounds like air escaping through a opening.
I know the sound turbo cars make when boosting, but this is like 10 time louder.

I've checked most of the turbo piping to look for leaks and can't find anything obvious.

Is this sound normal?

ive recently developed the same kinda of thing, when foots to the floor and its sucking air in, the noise changes big time, like its struggling to get rid of air or draw it in arent sure, it is due for a service so someone recommended just cleaning the filters for now n see if that helps.

atm i'm having the same issue on my tjet. When i fllor my pedal i hear a 'sucking' noise. Did you guys find the problem?

Yeah, it was the boost pipe into the intercooler. It was loose?! Fitted it again, car feels so much more responsive!

Thanks for the reply, had the same problem: a lose intercooler hose. Fixed it now!

usually the intake piping or air filter box that makes the noise

make sure its all secure properly :)

the boost piping if that was unsecure you would loose the power...so sounds like just intake piping from airbox to compressor

What was weird is that there was no black smoke from over fueling??
Wouldn't the ecu 'see' more air coming and fuel accordingly? Then cause a bunch of black smoke?

could this be the same problem with mine, the sucking seems quite a lot louder and up top end 5-6000rpm car seems to drastically lose power?
