yes- point taken ,
my pet hate is "High-beam" blue warning lamps that are so bright it actually detracts from your view of the road ahead,
I have previously covered the bulb area with masking tape ( behind the dash panel), really cut-down the brightness and invisible fix.
Charlie

Thats this weekends task i find it bloody distracting at night.. either a small bit of masking tape or tinted film me thinks.....

In my experience, the sidelights at the front (501's) were the only one's to cause any real issues for me with the fault indicator light because of LED's - everywhere else (boot, reg plate, indicators on the side) has no issue but these resistors are a MUST:

Side Light: 501 (Blue tint, white light, no resistor)
Head Light: H4 (Blue tint, white light, no resistor)
Side Indicator: Chrome (yellow light, no resistor)
Interior Light: 6 LED 42mm (white, no resistor)
Boot Light: Canbus 8 SMD (white light, no resistor)
Reg Plate: Canbus 13 SMD (white light, 2 x resistors)

Side note: you don't need LED sidelights, they are masked by the main beams anyway so go for a nice HID H4 bulb with a white or blue tint 501 light and your golden! I got these off eBay for €15, come with match fogs and sidelights and they are excellent:

And proof of how well they look compared to stock? See below :)
