As alway ith Fiat the car is 2 weeks out of warranty and the problems start.

I have had problems with failing ABS/ASR/Hil Holder and the have replaced the entire pedalbox.
Never had problems since.

Last night I came home and the Hill Holder failed while as stopped and put it in reverse, I thougt I was to quick with pushing the clutch so i did'nt care.
This morning I started the car and the fault was there again.

It's not as all teh other problems it's only the Hill Holder system.
So I ques I popped a fuse but I can't find my booklet.
On the web I can't find a fusebox overview.

Does anyone have a digital overview of the fusebox that says wich fuse belongs to teh Hill Hold system?

I checked all the fuses I could find.
In side the car near on the left.
the box underneath the hood.
And the box on the left rear.

I noticed that the parking sensors on the rear also failed.

On the drive home I also noticed the rear wiper won;t go on when I back up.
So there must a sensor that failed.
I looked down the engine to spot the sensor on the gearbox.
But I did'nt see it.
Were on the gearbox is that little thing?
Or is it underneath the gearshift cover?

Ok, got the car in teh garage about three weeks ago.
The diagnostics came up with a faulty reverse sensor on the gearbox.
I ordered a new one of 13 euro's and had it about two weeks:rolleyes:
Today I finaly got the time to replace the old one.
After about an hour it was in and the testing began.

Reverse light - comes on
Rear wiper - comes on when the front wipers are on
Parking sensors- work every time

Hill Holder - still not available.
Does the ECU remove error itself after faulty parts are replaced or do I need to get it cleared?

Have you had it back on the diagnostics to see if it's recording another fault?

As far as I am aware the fault should clear if everything is working ok but it will still be recorded by the ecu so you need to see if there are any other faults

Hi I had a problem with my hill holder when one of my front sensors stopped working, due to a harsh winter!!
I went to fiat paid £150 and had a new sensor and car was fixed!
Lovely
