also im thinking about getting these wheels for it, think they look amazing on a black grande! but god knows i cant find them anywhere! or what they are called, any help would be amazing!

These are Abarth Esseesse Alloy wheels and very hard to get hold of as they come with the Esseesse kit only, if you find any let me know aswell :D

These aren't the Esseesse wheels as said above - they are optional alloys on the current Abarth Punto Evos (I have them on mine) and I do believe they were originally off the Abarth Grande Puntos! They are hard to get hold of though, best bet is to keep your eyes on eBay as sometimes sets go on there when people upgrade to Esseesse and take these wheels off!

Did you find the RR print out? Interested to see how agressive the map is for 160bhp on stock turbo!! And the exhaust looks sick!! Can see youve gone for a mid box and a back box, Im still trying to decide what set up to go with... Full flame spitting straigh through with just a back box, or sporty grumble with a mid and back box!

But the tip looks nice!
Cant wait to see it in the flesh, you coming to any meets this year?

Tom

this is the site of the company i used, couldnt find the readout. but if you do the calculator, you will see they give you near enough 160bhp with the map, then with the exhaust aswell, kinda adds up ha. http://www.customremapping.co.uk/

i had a straight through to start with, was far too loud, for me anyway, everybody is different. then i had the mid box added, and made a massive difference, can trundle round town with a purr, then it cracks up when you put your foot down.

havnt really thought about any meets, only just getting into this car enthusiast thing ha, would like to though tbh

well the abarth lights arrived today, hopefully get them fitted this weekend, im dreading it looking at the guides, something is bound to go wrong, or break, might just get fiat to do it ha. ill update asap when they are up and running!

Red AGP!? I hear the red one's are by far the nicest one's! BIAST!? don't be silly ;)

Lovely motor, your going to love it! Can't wait to see some proper pictures! Any plans? Very jealous of the wheels aswel, i'm on the lookout for some but so are hundreds of people!

The red looks amazing, even better in the flesh! it compliments the black trim more. and ye ive been waiting to find one with those wheels :p:) got the optional extras like climate control and leather seats

as for plans, going to swap my pipercross panel filter into it, enquired about a turbo back exhaust, but the only definate change is a remap to 185bhp!

I was never fond of the black trim, but the second I saw it in the flesh my opinion completely changed! Makes it look quite a bit beefier aswel :) your waiting payed off then eh!

I've been wanting to get a cat-back system for mine but not too sure about it yet :/ remap to 185bhp!? 5 more than me :'( haha maybe I should get that exhaust for the extra 7 stallions on my 180bhp lol

Ye it looks great, lower and wider. Im unsure about getting a cat back, have one on my tjet, i felt the difference, but not 100% keen on the sound, too bassy. are there any good aftermarket ones?

I'm still learning about exhausts as I dont know a great deal about them. I've been looking at the systems pre made for the Abarth but, either too loud for me, involves de-cat (I dont want to go anywhere near removing the cat) or very very expensive.

There's the TMC system which in my mind is anti-socially loud! haha, Gtech which I haven't looked into too much, Ragazzon which sounds basically the same as my current one but a little raspier and then there's the SuperSprint which melts my heart, one of my favourite zausts ever but it's so so expensive.

Trouble is I want to change as little as I can with my car as there so rare as it is and would be nice to keep as standard as possible! Get yourself over to the Abarth forum soon, i've asked about exhaust on there with some good replies! Generally members have said most have gone for a custom system as you can make it how you want it. It's annoying really, love my exhaust if only it popped and crackled on the over run it would be perfect!

Ye i was thinking that its a rare car and that i should tinker with it much, remap doest change the appearence, so going back to the guy i had my tjet done with. been youtubing exhausts, the supersprint does sound the muts nuts! but like you say, very expensive. think i might go back to tony banks in leeds, but have it a little more subtle than the one he did for my tjet.

still havnt picked my AGP up yet, like a kid at christmas waiting!!!

Well after a short break i am back. got my abarth a few weeks back and have been enjoying it ever since. finally got round to taking a few pics today after i gave it a clean, they arnt the best, but ill get some more up when i find a decent place to take some. Enjoy

These leather seats are amazing. so well made aswell

Love the alternative wheels, really make the car stand out.

And a few of the outside.

Got the car remapped yesterday. and wow! what an animal it is now! the guy was amazed how much power it had for a 1.4, said it was just as quick as a 2l golf gti!

I thought i wouldnt feel much difference going from a tjet with remap and cat back to this, but the abarth is a league above. you can definately feel the upgrades that they have done. great car to drive. Also the amount of looks i get in it is staggering. and lost count of the times people have asked me what it is ha.

anyway let me know what you think, and ill get some better pictures up asap

cheers

FINALLY! :D

Glad to hear you enjoying it buddy! I really want to design a '1.4 & proud' sticker just for laughs haha it is amazing power from a little 1.4T engine and I love the fact it's as fast as a 2.0T golf gti! (y) What figures did the remap produce? Must be near (or over) the 180bhp mark with a good torque figure aswel? I'm tempted for a remap but unsure :/

It's quite good when you see people looking at it like  what a lovely car! I watched a man walk round mine for 5mins looking at it from all angles, thought he had plans to knick it for a while but quickly realised he was just having a nosey! ;)
