Hey folks, not sure if this in the right place, also new here!

I have a '06 Punto Grande and need some help understanding the USB port in the glovebox. Had a good look on google and around the forum but cant find the answer I'm looking for.

If I plug my USB stick into the port with just a few mp3's on it will flash but I have no idea how to select it via the CD player. Also my iPhone just vibrates but doesnt charge and again cannot be selected.

I have read that if I dont have a windows logo on my steering wheel (which I dont, mine has the 'wireless' symbol) then I cannot play mp3's off a USB stick. If thats the case then why is the USB port there at all?

Thanks

put your mp3 files in folders, such as dance, rock, soul, etc etc.

Plug the memory stick in the LEFT usb port in the glove box.

start the engine, wait for a few seconds for the USB to register the folders and then press the CD button on the stereo.

If it comes up with 'no media found' or similar message, press the 'windows' button and say 'folders'.

shortly afterwards a female voice will say 'folders' and you will see the titles of your folders on the matrix of your car right in front of you.

Using the up/down arrows scroll to the desired folder and press the 'phone' button.

Music will start shortly afterwards.

Let me know if you need any further help.

Good luck!

If you don't have the "windows" symbol on the steering wheel, then you have just Bluetooth, not Blue & Me. Essentially it's just an integrated hands-free kit for your phone. It will not play MP3's/iPods/etc.

The USB port situated at the top of the glovebox is actually part of the Bluetooth unit and is only there to allow the software to be updated via a USB stick.
