Tuning the problematic turbo to intercooler hose failure

This isnt the s bend type boost pupe is it, i replaced that one got bummed by fiat for part as no one would make me a silicone one

not seen any s bend boost hoses on 1.9 mjet.....

thers the 90 degree elbow(which this thread is about) which connects turbo outlet to intercooler...

then theres a long kinda j shaped one that connects intercooler outlet to inlet manifold.....

thats it for turbo hoses...

the pipe that links maf /airbos to turbo inlet is plastic, as is the one that connects intercooler outlet hose to inlet manifold

item 2 is the pipe this thread is about
item 3 is the j shaped pipe i referred too
item 4 is hard plastic
item 1 the long part is metal

not trying to cause an argument or anything just curious why would it need to fluro lined, Its only going to have Air and a bit of oil from the turbo in it..

Fluro lined means its resistant tO fuel and oil, hence the reason I upgraded, anything after turbo will have oil in it, especially seeing as all the rocker cover fumes are reintroduced before the turbo. The standard pipe is not up to job hence a lot have split/blown/perished. I want to make my car more reliable and improve so fluro lined is best.

For the sake of £4-6 more it's worth every penny, search eBay for 48mm 90 deg elbow fluro lined, and check price of the samco version.

Asking why get fluro lined, is like asking "why remap when it gets you from a to b"

People like to improve/enhance there cars as we're all well aware. I always go for better upgraded parts if prices are feasible

I understand this is for MJet but I read you upgraded to stainless jubilee clips. I've been planning on doing this, as my TJet looses coolant a bit, especially after I've had my foot down.

I'm hoping its just the clips that is causing the leak. Do they really perish that badly?

This has nothing to do with coolant hoses, just the boost hoses on the mjet.

If your losing coolant I highly doubt a new clip will sort
