I have bought and fitted a TMC Tuning box for my GP T-Jet, I must say it is brilliant, the extra BHP and Torque gains make all the difference. The acceleration from any gear is immense and it just keeps on going! I was just wondering what the numbers 7, 8 and 9 do? I am very happy with it set at 6, just curious if anyone would be able to help me...

Number 7 kills the clutch, 8 destroys the differential and 9 finishes off 4th gear.

Has the box done anything to boost the weak top end (5000 rpm plus) or is it all low and mid range improvement?
 
The top end past 5000rpm has definately improved, It does keep boost for longer, but the box has definately substantially, increased the low and mid range boost. Thanks for your views, I will most definitely keep It at six as I am very happy with this setting. ;)
 
Also to add, I don't know if its just me but, there is a slight delay/lag, until 2500rpm, then I get a hell of a lot of boost.
 
Hi Daniel, I run the same box in my own Abarth Evo, I just leave it on 6, there is plenty of power at this level. The lower settings allow for adjusting down in countries with poor grade fuel, higher settings will allow for future upgrades like full exhaust, induction etc.
