the radio and cd player is fine when the engine is running.
but if it is not and i am playing music , if the volume goes to high or the song become lower the radio will cut out and on again and keep doing that till i turn it down anyone, els had this problem or know how to fix it, hopefully you understand what i mean, but if the engine is running i can go as loud as i like. thanks

Could it be because it is drawing too much current from the battery so shuts it down to stop it going flat?

:yeahthat:also, check you have turned off all other sources of current draw i.e. headlights, interior light, fans, anything plugged into 12v.

When I first fitted my stereo we fitted it the power cable to the heater controls...everytime I put my heaters on fast or did full lock on the wheel it would cut out lol.

i thought that might be the problem, that it was cutting out to save battery, but it doesnt stay off, it comes back on after a second or two, if it might just be somthing ill have to live with. only had the car a couple of days and am loving it. thanks for the replyes im lieking this forum alot.
