hi, has anyone had their 1.2 active gp mapped? or know of anyone that has done? i wanna get mine remapped but dont know if it makes a big diffrence or not?

cheeers

yeah the 8v mate, its not to bad for a 1.2 quite nippy, but not nippy enuff really, ive done a few lil mods to it like big airfilter and exhaust but its not fast enuff, it can get to 70/80 quik enuff but ****s out after a ton but have had aroun 110 -115 out of it

Must have been a nice hill you were going down.

R.I.P You fool. Speed isnt cool.

Wont make a massive difference. But together with an exhaust etc you could push it. I have a 1.4 8v and I know i wont get much out of it, but I enjoy messing with it, if you enjoy messing around and you wanna get it mapped, go for it mate...then you could maybe let us know what difference its made? :)

Only the internals are slightly different and ecu is showing more bhp power. A friend of mine has the 1.4 8v and I have a 1.2 with gsr induction kit, about the same now. I doubt they come out the factory as the figures state.

Try to hold off a camshaft from a 1.2 75HP Mk1 punto + Remap + filter/exhaust (you already have) and you will see a decent difference. Very cheap upgrade with the best gains for this engine.
