Hi
I started my car this afternoon and reversed a little to find some large drips of a bright yellow/green fluid on the snow.

I dont know how long this has been happening but am slightly concerned as the only reservoir with any fluid remotely looking like this colour is for the brakes

Could it be any other fluid - gearbox etc leaking? Should I bet getting it to a garage asap?(n)

Thanks

Dont eat yellow snow........

Where about was the leak in relation to the car? (close to the wheel backs?)

Any loss of fluid (take it you have checked the brake fluid level? )

Coolent is red/ orange
gear box oil is red and smells of cat pi55
Engine oil can be yellow (depending on how fresh the oil is)
what screen wash have you got in? is that the same colour?

Only thing i can suggest is get under the car and have a really good luck if it is brake related dont drive the car obviously

Hi Andy

Seems to be coming from the front centre of the engine. Its very strange

Brake fluid reservoir is full and it has a slightly different yellow colour and viscosity to what was being dripped.

Engine coolant and washer fluid are different colours.

Thanks

can you see where it is coming from can you get any pictures?

if its the centre of the engine bay.....

Check that the clutch slave isn't leaking,, (Assuming you have a 1.2 or a 1.4 engine and dont have an dual logic automatic)
