looks good i attempted wrapping the grey bit but had loads of creases so took it off, would look good white (would be different), so far so good keep it up

Oh that's a shame! What I found was easiest was to gently lay each piece against the vinyl, starting from one end pushing it down to the other end. cut around the edge leaving a few mm of excess. pressed it down firmly on the front then used a hair dryer to heat up the vinyl and then i tucked the edges round. the heat helps get out creases give it a try!
Yeah I think it would look nice. I've heard to take that bit off you have to break it off and glue it back on though? Not to keen on that idea

me neither might have another go sometime should just be like the little strips and clipped in would be so much easier

Yeah just like the little metal stripes. Design fault. But I guess they never probably thought people would want to take it off.

And yeah they look really good something I'd like to get.
I used a hair dryer to heat up each letter/emblem, until they wiggled about a bit. I then got some fishing wire to cut underneath through the adhesive. I used some white spirit and a cloth to get the rest of the adhesive off

or you could use normal string, but be prepared for it snapping every 2 seconds i write from experience

i was thinking about doing this but im unsure because ive got a red gp so dont want to take them off to find out it has faded and can see the letters still

this will not be the case, well it wasnt on mine. If anything, the paint behind the letters will be more red than the rest of the car (or is that what you meant)

Either way, mine was fine and i think you should have a bash

I just used a bank card/store card to take my punto badge off. Then gave a quick wax to hide any imprints.

Take your car to AC Aberdeen for it's annual service. When the service manager brings your car around, he'll back into something and they'll have to remove the Punto badge so they can repair the tailgate, but they don't keep new Punto badges in stock, so they'll ask if you really want it or not.

Newish fiat owner. never had the balls to try anything with my car. all ive done is take my dub stickers off. reading this has realky got me in the mood to mod. cheaply of course. thinking of trying the light tints. wind deflectors. also after mud flaps as i do alot of long distance driving and car gets filthy. sorry to intrude. but it would appear you guys know youre stuff. cheers

The genuine fiat mud flaps look pretty good tbf, if you have side skirts they require a bit of trimming to get them to fit.

i looked at them but all the reviews said they just fall off. User error ? Or poor quality parts ?

also luke. not sure if youve done anything abouy youre wing mirrors. but due to foolish drivers. i had to replace mine. i went for gloss black. Looks quite tidy.

I doubt they just fall off, iirc they fit with tabs behind the plastic wheel arch and screw into place. if you catch them on something then they might well come off which is better than bending something important.

luckily i work opposite a fiat dealership. might see if they have any in stock and have a look at them then. cheers.

Yeah I imagine gloss black looks good. Mine are just the matt black plastic at the moment so I might spray them gloss!
