I'll try my hardest not to Vance!
Compared to my Saxo it sits a lot firmer around corners my Saxo bounced about like an idiot at the back.

Since I've bought it myself and I'm paying for it I'm trying to look after it :)

Never haeard of the 1.3 Mjet Sporting before...
You think that's rare khudsonuk, try telling insuares you've got a GP DUB...
Aviva wanted £2.3k to insure me, so told them politley to F*** O**, they gave me a 7day cover note, when I went to pick it up last feb.

Had insurance with Admiral on the Sei (man I miss that wee car :(), so got it changed over to the GP.

I used to love the bouncing on my saxo till i span the f***er

And i'd never heard of it before either, but i read up online and fiat initially planned on releasing it but never did, it was a factory order and you can get it in other countries too, it looks the same in every way and even states it in my v5c, which is a b**tard or else i would have claimed it as a dynamic.

And as insurance companies only had one engine size listed a.k.a the 1.9, they just put my car under a 1.9 even though it clearly states 1.3 on my v5c.

Money robbing sods :p

Got them down to 1000 instead of 1500, but with monthly payment they want 145 a month, which makes 1750 a year, so it looks like im off for a 0% credit card lol.

I wouldnt mind a DUB, mainly for the radio :p

are you sure it's not a 1.2? I'm sure you can only get a 1.2-1.4 and 1.9? I might be wrong! You can also get 8-16valves too! Look in your manual or open the door and you might see some details on the bodywork of what your car is! Hope this helped!

Hi Guys,

New to fiat forum :)

Just need some help, I recently bought a Grande Punto Sporting 1.3mjet. However as it is a rare model there isnt any sign of it on comparethemarket.com. Also when i contact my insurer they believe its a 1.9 even though on my v5c it states its a 1.3.

Now admiral want 1500 for my renewal where as the very similiar dynamic with the same engine is only 1000 for the year.

do i just state its a dynamic 90bhp jtdm or pay the extra cost?

Thanks

Kyle
