Hi recently bought at 56 plate 1.2 petrol grande punto dynamic.
Driving home today pulled up at croosroads. As I accellerated to pull off the car stalled/cut out. I restarted the car and carried on driving home.
Noticed the EOBD light had appeared on the dashboard and the rev counter needle does not move any more. Once home I went back out after half an hour , started the car , fine . Then few revs , engine cut out again!!
Has anybody any ideas on this problem.I'm not technically minded on cars so a simple explanation if you know pls. Worried it will keep cutting out .

This is a how long is a piece of sting question. You need to extract the code for an accurate diagnosis.


Any other issues is it miss firing?

any problems starting?


Where abouts do you live there might be a kind member locally with a OBD code reader

No problem with starting and it seems to drive ok but not been up to any great speed . I live in Stretton near Burton on Trent , Staffs.
