Of Course they will, like any car getting older and the value starts to drop, they all fall into the bracket of the young driver car

How about my father passed away and my mother lives in Wales? Some of us don't get the luxury of things like that and I feel taking advantage of it is wrong. I have to work from the bottom up why not other people? And before you go off on one I'm not pointing fingers at anyone it was a general statement. And if you were at the opposite side of the situation e.g you had to pay stupid money for insurance on your own when others get it cheap because they happen to have parents that can and do do that you would feel the same. Would you not?

That would explain it then, thought you was having a dig at people for having their parents on their policy's like it was uncool.:bang:

No lol it's one of those things ain't it, some people win the lottery others don't. You just get get on with it lmao. What I was trying to make the point of was that just cuz I have a 1.2 with a few mods people are labelling it chavvy when really its not my fault lol.

Labels get thrown around and they stick. Because of the select few that drive around like knobs in modified cars it ruins it for everyone else.

Im proud of my car, i keep it in the best condition i can and i drive sensibly, but that doesnt stop some people thinking im "chavvy".

Yea i may be stcking to the speed limit instead of doubling it. Yea i may be listening to guns n roses n not happy hardcore. Yea i may be stopping to let old ladies cross the road instead of ploughing my car into the nearest immovable obstacle..... But just because ive taken the badges off, or colour coded a few bits that automatically makes me a chav in some peoples eyes.

Ahhhh well, who really gives a s***!

Still can have your mother on the policy to lower! Are there laws about insuring a person to drive a car even if they will not drive it?

I have my mum on my policy, she would probably drive it from the station car park home once or twice a year at the maximum, maybe even not drive it at all.
