Technical Need help with MTEC HIGH POWER LED Sidelight bulb for number plate?

I have read the manual for my grande punto and noticed the number plate light bulbs are the same as the sidelight bulbs.

I have already got These as my sidelights and they work perfectly. Now I am looking for some LED lights for my number plate light. http://www.hids-direct.co.uk/mtec-m...per-white-501-w5w-bulbs-sidelights-p-369.html.

I have found the LED's below but wasn't sure if they would work immidiately on my car or if I'd have to look to buy resistors... Please help!

There are some MTEC LED sidelights that do work in the punto without the need for resistors

the only problem in the numberplate is them fitting because they are longer than standard bulbs and the holder is quite short! test fit your sidelight bulbs first maybe

my sidelights are really blue and dont think they would be suitable for the number plate light. Ill have to have a try
