Hello

I am new to this forum and have joined up since I have an issue with my car.

Yesterday after braking a bit hard, my yellow triangle warning lit up and my display started showing "Check running lights"

I have checked all lights tried turning on my turning signals and everything. Nothing seems to be off.
The warning sometimes turns on and off every few seconds while driving.

Any idea what this could be?

My car is a 2006 Grande Punto 16v Sport.

Thanks alot in advance!

Hi Vance

I have checked the brakelight and also both modes in the front.
My mate told me they lit up as they were supposed to.

This had happened to me, happened with my sidelight, the triangle come up so I stopped, checked it, turned the engine off and back on and the sidelight was working again! Triangle was off..strange these fiats lol

With my limited knowledge of electric in cars, or cars in general, I think ive tried all the basics.

Turning off the engine and turning it on again.
Switching on and off all lights
Checking braking and reverse lights

With the fact that it seems like it turns off and on every few seconds sometimes, my obvious guess is some kind of faulty wiring, but shouldnt the light be off while the warning is on then?

Mine started doing this 3 days before it was due to be PXed. All bulbs functioning and still the error message.....can you guess what I did to fix it?.......yeah.....nothing!!
