hi, i have been looking aaaallll over the internet on how to remove the glow plugs but i cant find anything! i have removed the fuel lines and the cables but now im stuck. Is there a way to remove the black cap on top of the plugs ? i cant get a spanner or anything on the plugs please help!

You are looking at the hardest thing i've done to my car!
It took me and a friend 2 hours to change them all.
Good luck!
We used an extension for the wrench and with delicate moves we took them out.
I wish i don't have to do that again...

What's an extension for the wrench lol be a bit more descriptive? A ratchet with a deep socket or what? What mm? 1/2" or 3/8" drive?

The problem is that i can't explain in english what tool we used sorry!
Imagine a screwdriver with an angle extension in front...

things like this shouldnt be done at home, im a mechanic and people coming in trying to change spark plugs/glow plugs at home and snap them in the cylinder head, then your looking at a top end re-build, all for the sake of 1 hours labour in a garage

Now that i've done it before, i guess it will be easier the next time i try it.
However, still a delicate job...

Were not all idiots, I'm
Also a qualified mechanic, but when I was at college we didn't work on modern diesel engines. I just want to know what type of tool is required to remove them,
