Hi all, just lowered my 2007 GP 1.9D 130bhp, just fitted springs from a company called FK they are from germany and done lots of springs and stuff for all make of cars. Anyway, i lowered the car no problem, but i was giving the under side of the car a black wax spay and noticed the rear springs looked very compressed, all the way to about 2 coils left as travel.

i took a photo and was hoping if anyone else that has there's lowered or has lowered this car before can compare mine with the 1's they have seen.

lowering was 35mm front, 40mm rear.

You've not mentioned how you were under the car? Was it on axle stands or a jack? Where were either of them placed? It just looks like you've jacked upthe rear beam hence compressing springs

hi, the car is sat on my garage floor which is a level surface, ive been in touch with the manufacturer and there is something deffinetly amiss here...

that def doesnt look right, ive seen coilovers with more give in the spring!
