thankyou

I've got coilovers and wound them down pretty much until they sit on top of the tyre line. Looks good but not ideal for country roads :(

Mines destroyed too, its about £100 to replace so doubt ill be replacing it again just to smash it off.

hey, sorry to resurrect such an old thread but I cant find anything about it ANYWHERE online... Does anyone have any idea on suppliers of engine splash guards?

Theres a supplier on ebay, but its polish.. Can't find anything else..

thanks

If you're talking about the engine bottom plastic cover.I reckon its for MPG @80MPH rather than anything else. If your's doesn't come with one avoid the hastle by ignoring it.

My 150Mjet came with an 'engine splash guard' that at best was scraping the road @ 2.5" clearance

We drove it up onto a set of temp ramps, and drove some self tappers 'carefully' through at where the original screws should have been, and then all over it to hold it up. That's not coming off again

Mine came with one, was just driving along last night about 12am and some ****er put a bollard in the road... It looked like white linemarking paint as it was ona junction, i went over it just ripped my the splash guard off completely, split it in half...

Now its outside hanging off the bottom of my car and I want to replace it, just dont know the best place to get one from :|

you think i shouuld just take it off and leave it off?

thanks

Mine always used to scrape on bumps on my standard Mjet and finally gave up at 70ish  on the motorway late one night.

Didnt bother replacing it, its alot of money for a bit of plastic. No harm done.
